Jarrold Group is proud to announce the first recipient of its 2025 Growth Fund: Urban Interiors, an independent interior design studio founded by Vicky Allison. The Jarrold Growth Fund was launched in 2024 and this year has partnered with Norfolk County Council. The Jarrold Growth Fund is designed to support the region’s independent businesses through tailored funding, mentoring, and access to professional services.

Urban Interiors, renowned for its personalised, design-led interiors, will benefit from Growth Fund support through accredited training and membership with the British Institute of Interior Design (BIID). This backing will provide founder Vicky Allison with new skills, industry credentials, and valuable connections to help grow her studio sustainably and strategically.

“We are thrilled to welcome Vicky as the first business supported by this year’s Jarrold Growth Fund,” said Caroline Ellis, Group Business Development Manager at Jarrold Group. “Her commitment to creativity, community, and craftswomanship aligns perfectly with our own values. By investing in training and membership, we’re enabling Urban Interiors to build on their growing success and further elevate their professional offering. Jarrold Business Services is a great example of how we can support local businesses to grow – offering practical, strategic support that helps founders like Vicky turn ambition into sustainable development.”

Susie Jarrold, Managing Director of Jarrold Training, commented:
“Investment in skills and training is one of the most effective ways we can directly empower independent businesses. At Jarrold Training, we’re proud to support professional development across all industries – whether it’s through leadership skills, technical qualifications or creative upskilling. The Growth Fund will support Vicky’s ambitions and provide new opportunities for development. I look forward to seeing Urban Interiors continued growth and long-term success.”

Nick Steven-Jones, Group Chief Executive Officer at Jarrold Group, added:
“We’re immensely proud to support the incredible innovation and creativity that drives growth in Norfolk. By leveraging our expertise across the Jarrold Group and partnering with Norfolk County Council, we’re excited to help local businesses thrive and contribute to the prosperity of our vibrant region. The Jarrold Growth Fund is not just about investment, it’s about championing local ambition and enabling meaningful growth”.

BIID membership is a hallmark of professionalism in the UK design industry, offering access to industry-approved training, expert guidance, and a network of top-tier interior designers. With this support, Urban Interiors Norfolk will be empowered to expand both creatively and commercially.

Commenting on the fund, Vicky Allison, said:
“It’s an incredible honour to be the first business selected for Jarrold 2025 Growth Fund. This opportunity will have a lasting impact on my studio’s development. The support and belief Jarrold Group have shown in me, and my vision means so much, and I can’t wait to make the most of the training to push my creative boundaries even further.”

The Jarrold Growth Fund is part of the company’s ongoing commitment to nurturing entrepreneurship and strengthening the independent business landscape in Norfolk. Further shortlisting for the 2025 Growth Fund is currently underway, and we look forward to announcing additional recipients later this year.
