John Jarrold Trust supports City College Norwich Further Education Award
The Trust supported the Academic Achievement in Foundation Learning awarded to Caroline Gould who studied Phoenix Plus GCSEs. Caroline was presented with her award by City College Norwich Principal Corrienne Peasgood at the awards ceremony held at The Assembly House in Norwich on 11th September 2013. Caroline was nominated for the award for her performance in English and Maths. Caroline’s achievement was particularly marked as she arrived in the UK from the Dominican Republic in 2012. She is now studying for four A levels.
In English, Caroline showed diligence in attending classes, showing a positive attitude and a consistently high achievement. She was always keen to help others and to participate in all activities with enthusiasm.
In Maths, Caroline was always proactive in asking for confirmation when working in class. She attended revision classes and asked for work to do at home. She worked well with others and was a positive influence.
