Looking for the Department Store?
The Bay will be the sixth place to eat and drink in Norfolk’s favourite department store.
Jarrold is already well known for its food and drink offering. With five places to eat and drink at its Norwich store and a food hall which houses a Deli and Wine Bar, the independent department store is well known for its support of local and independent food and drink producers and suppliers.
Now there is a sixth restaurant to add to your shopping list – The Bay is a seafood and wine bar, which will be open for morning coffee and will specialise in seafood, in particular freshly cured salmon (including Jarrold’s own brand smoked salmon), taster boards, main dishes from homemade fish pie to Lobster Bisque, through to a luxurious caviar menu which features different types of caviar including Oscietra, Sevruga and Beluga.
The café overlooks Norwich Market so you can enjoy some of the best seafood in Norwich overlooking the historical and colourful marketplace.
Jarrold Trading Director John Adams said “The Bay seafood bar will be the sixth place to eat and drink at Jarrold, supporting our vision to inspire and delight through brilliant curation and outstanding experiences. Seafood is very much a Norfolk favourite and the concept of a seafood and champagne wine bar offers a point of difference to the other places to eat in store. The new café is located in a stunning corner location on floor 2, its design maximises the superb views across the City and celebrates the historic architecture of the building. This project is part of a wider floor 2 investment as we make our furniture, linens, home accessories and carpet offering more of a lifestyle retail space, with inspirational merchandise and expert style advice. Jarrold is more than just a department store, it’s a place to shop, socialise, relax, learn and play”
