Last night's concert in Norwich Cathedral which was jointly sponsored by Jarrold and Mills & Reeve was a resounding success and promises to linger in the minds of the audience for many years. Featuring Dawn Upshaw, one of the world's leading sopranos, the Brodski Quartet and the Andalucian Dogs in an adventurous and striking programme it was one real highlights of what is proving to be an outstanding festival. At the end of the concert the audience gave the performers a standing ovation and were treated to an encore of one of the songs from Ayre the song cycle by Golijov which formed the second half of this extraordinary concert.
