The staff of Jarrold in Norwich were delighted to be able to present a cheque for £20,000 to EACH(East Anglia's Children's Hospices) on Saturday 31st January 2009. Seen in the photograph are Carl Brooks Corporate Fundraiser for EACH with Suzie Abel & Peter Mitchell from Jarrold.

“EACH’s three multi-disciplinary care teams help children with life-threatening conditions and complex healthcare needs, and their families, with the emotional and physical challenges they face, helping them to make the most of life. They welcome the whole family for a short break together or time to themselves in a home-from-home environment or in the comfort of their own home. They offer a diverse range of services including: care at end of life, short break care, specialist play, music therapy, telephone support, practical help, advice and information and bereavement support for all family members, including siblings and grandparents. The money raised by the staff of Jarrolds will be used towards the purchase of IT equipment to supportEACH and help them to extend their reach and cost-effectiveness by delivering services in and away from the hospice.EACH are extremely pleased to have had the kind support from Jarrolds over the last year and are truly grateful for the £20,000 that has been raised

"Our original target was £15,000 and all the staff are thrilled to have achieved an amazing £20,000. The fundraising came from generous donations from customers; staff participation in fun events like the Dragon Boat Festival, quiz and chips and bingo and chips nights; sponsored skydives; Race4each; theatre collections and kind donations from the John Jarrold Trust"
