Norwich Theatre Royal reopened in November 2007 after a tremendous building project which, in a remarkably short space of time, has transformed the public spaces, the restaurant, seating (especially leg room) and the number of loos. The building is barely recognisable and now provides a wonderful theatre experience for the people of Norwich, Norfolk and beyond.
The John Jarrold Trust has currently committed £30,000 towards the public appeal target of £2,650,000. The Theatre Royal continues to raise funds to complete the appeal.
Peter Wilson, the Chief Executive of the Theatre Royal said ' the support of local Trusts, who understand the challenges in raising funds for capital projects and have pride in their communities is vital for this type of appeal to flourish. We at the Theatre Royal are grateful for the support of the John Jarrold Trust'.
