At their meeting in January, the Trustees agreed donations of over £60,000 across the categories supported by the Trust. In total, over 60 projects were supported, most of which relate to activities in Norwich and Norfolk.

The Arts
Norwich Theatre Royal– Additional Support 250 Appeal for refurbishment
Seachange Arts Great Yarmouth– Royal Philharmonic Orchestra community project
Art Alive in Norfolk Churches – supporting sculptor and stone carver David Holgate at St George’s Colegate, Norwich in project involving 12 churches across Norfolk which will take place in May 2008
Shine Musical Theatre– community arts project in Catton Grove and Mile Cross, Norwich
AndAction– project working with young and older people in Norwich, creating a soundscape of words and sound which reflect who they are and their communities
Wymondham Music Festival running this year from 21 June to 6 July

The Red Balloon Learner Centre Norwich – supporting plan to buy new premises for safe learning environment for children who have been badly bullied at school and will not attend mainstream school
